Are your courses suitable for qualitative research?
At this stage, our courses are designed for quantitative research. However, we do offer individual consultancy and tailored support for qualitative researchers. Please contact us to discuss what we can offer.
I feel completely stuck and overwhelmed by writing my research in English. Where should I begin?
You are not alone – this is very common. We offer free 15-minute online consultations to help you clarify where you are in the process and identify the most helpful next steps. You can book a consultation or contact us here.
Can you guarantee that my work will be published after completing the “Manuscript Kickstart” course?
Unfortunately, no. Publication decisions depend on journal editors and reviewers, and these are beyond our control. However, “Manuscript Kickstart” is designed to help you produce a strong, submittable manuscript that meets international academic standards. Once your paper is reviewed by a journal, reviewer feedback can also be a valuable learning opportunity and a key step toward eventual publication.
How do I know whether to join “Manuscript Kickstart” or “Get Published”?
“Manuscript Kickstart” is ideal if you are an emerging academic writer who wants to learn how to turn existing research into a well-structured manuscript in English. It is especially suitable if you have never written an academic article in English or lack confidence in doing so.
“Get Published” is designed for researchers who have already submitted manuscripts and want to better understand the “black box” of academic publishing. In this course, we focus on designing stronger studies, writing more rigorous manuscripts, identifying what makes a study compelling to journals, engaging readers, understanding editorial decision-making, and responding effectively to reviewers’ comments.
Are your courses suitable for non-native English speakers?
Yes. Our courses are specifically designed for researchers writing in English as an additional language. We focus on clarity, structure, and academic conventions rather than perfection or native-like fluency.
Will you edit or proofread my manuscript?
Our courses focus on developing your skills as an academic writer rather than providing full editing services. However, we do offer individual feedback and consultancy, and we can recommend professional editing services if needed.
How much time do the courses require?
Time commitment varies by course, but you should expect to dedicate regular weekly time to writing, revising, and engaging with course materials. We aim to keep workloads realistic for researchers, balancing multiple responsibilities.
Are the courses delivered online?
Yes. All courses are delivered online and include pre-recorded sessions as well as structured materials you can work through independently.
Still unsure which option is right for you?
We recommend booking a free 15-minute consultation so we can help you decide which course or form of support best fits your needs.
